So this ice skating rink… It’s making me homesick for my regular one.

The skaters here don’t watch where they’re bloody going and I’ve almost hit three of them. Going at a normal pace. What a joke.

At my regular ice skating rink, you can get to know the regulars there and you slowly learn how they skate and how your skating works with theirs and before long you are part of a perfect symphony of ice skating. Everyone skates in rhythm to those around them.

There is no rhythm here.

Also, the staff don’t let you go very fast. Not at all like the lawless rink in Penrith.
